Atlas Board Guidelines
Employer Posting Guidelines:
- Employer must be legally registered and in good standing with a U.S. Secretary of State office. We accept listings for businesses registered outside of Louisiana.
- Over 90% of our listings exceed Louisiana’s living wage. We accept a very limited number of entry-level paying jobs under $15.00 per hour. We do not allow 100% commission based listings.
- Incognito job listings offered.
- Real pay range required. Enter more information in the description if necessary.
- Employer paid training and paid certification information must be provided. We do not accept unpaid internship listings.
- Job postings will be summarized to accommodate online and physical board space.
- No Ghost Jobs permitted. Jobs can be renewed consecutively for up to 4 months. They may be renewed 60-days after expiration for another 4 months.
- Job listings must include direct contact via an email, company website contact page or a custom QR code questionnaire linked to the listing.
- Atlas Boards reserves the right to deny any job listing submission.
Job Seeker Guidelines:
- Apply directly using the employer contact information in the job listing (via email, QR code or Website Link).
- Do not send personal information or resumes to Atlas Boards. We advertise the listings only.
- Do not overshare personal information. At the time of initial contact, employers only need a name, city of residence, job history, cover letter, email or phone number.
- Save time. Tell employers why you are looking for a new job or wanting to try a new career. Share how you added value (work, volunteer, home-life, school) in simple or complex ways (example: reorganized a work station, trained a stable, long-term crew preventing expensive mistakes, etc)
- Do NOT use AI to write to employers. Be yourself and let employers get to know your personality and communication style.
- Employers will appreciate value-added skills, experience or willingness to learn. Atlas Boards is built for open-minded and serious job seekers and employers. One skill-match can open the door to several opportunities.
