Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 plus benefits

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
• Proficiency in Trimble Business Center (TBC)
• Experience creating 3D earthwork models
• Experience creating machine control files for GPS-guided heavy equipment
• Strong understanding of grading, earthwork, and site development
• Ability to interpret civil plans, profiles, cross sections, and specifications
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs and assisting with estimating
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities: 

• Create accurate 3D earthwork models from civil construction plans
• Develop machine control models and files for Trimble GPS-equipped equipment
• Build and edit Civil 3D surfaces, corridors, feature lines, alignments, and grading models
• Process survey data and existing ground models
• Generate machine control deliverables for field operations
• Assist the estimating department with quantity takeoffs and earthwork calculations
• Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports
• Prepare grading models for roads, building pads, ponds, levees, drainage systems, and utilities
• Coordinate with estimators, survey personnel, and project managers to ensure model accuracy
• Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout each project

Preferred:

• Heavy civil construction experience
• Experience with levee, drainage, or site development projects
• Familiarity with GPS survey data and machine control workflows
• Knowledge of construction sequencing and field operations
