Pay: $20.00 – $30.00/hour depending on experience

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of related experience, training, and/or education in residential or commercial painting, with strong understanding of surface prep
• Comfortable using hand tools, brushes, rollers, and paint sprayers (including airless)
• Able to work safely on ladders and scaffolding
• Careful, quality-focused work
• Professional appearance and communication
• On time, with reliable transportation to job sites
• Travel: jobs are mostly in Lafayette Parish, with some work in nearby parishes

Responsibilities

• Meticulously sand, scrape, patch and mud drywall, putty, and caulk surfaces
• Prime surfaces to ensure optimal paint adhesion and smooth finishes
• Paint and stain with brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers
• Cover a range of surfaces: drywall, doors, windows, cabinets, stucco, masonry, concrete, and metal
• Use ladders and scaffolding safely
